Ari Markow is an of counsel in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass. He focuses his practice on corporate structure and commercial transactions, as well as business and commercial litigation. Ari provides general corporate and business counseling to emerging growth companies and their management with respect to corporate structure, financing, a wide variety of business transactions and investor/shareholder issues. He also has extensive experience in handling all types of real estate matters and related disputes, professional liability matters, trade secret issues, intellectual property, products liability and complex corporate and commercial litigation. In addition, Ari has substantial experience in disputes involving financial institutions and the financial services area, including secured transactions, commercial code and lending practices matters. He also has extensive experience in construction law.
Ari Markow received his JD from California Western School of Law in 1996. In law school, he concentrated his studies in areas that concern business and securities, and was also a Moot Court competition finalist. In 1993, he received his BA from the School of Political Science at California State University, Northridge. He was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society. He also served as a staff intern to State Senator Ed Davis. Ari Markow serves as pro bono general counsel for A Walk On Water (AWOW). AWOW's primary goal is providing relief to families of children with special needs through surf therapy. In his spare time, Ari enjoys surfing, fishing, motorcycle riding and studying Kempo karate.
