Heather M. Antonie is an associate in the Orange County office of Manning & Kass, where she practices on the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Team. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Women Lawyers Association.
Ms. Antonie completed her undergraduate studies in criminal justice at St. Leo University in 2006. In 2010, she received her JD from Western State University where she earned a business law certificate with distinction. Ms. Antonie was the 2010 recipient of the Marcia Blanchard Wilbur Memorial Award for an Outstanding Woman Student.
During law school, Ms. Antonie was editor-in-chief of the Law Review from 2009 to 2010. In addition, she was a student extern for Judge Richard T. Fields of the Riverside Superior Court and a student intern for OC Lawyer Magazine, where she edited numerous articles for publication. Ms. Antonie's publications include a co-authorized article “To Assist or Not to Assist?: Still the Question, as California’s Legislative Response to Van Horn v. Watson Provides Inadequate Guidance to Good Samaritans,” 37 W. St. U. L. Rev. 85 (2009).
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Antonie was a member of another workers' compensation team at a large defense firm. She also worked part-time for a two law professors and assisted in editing a textbook for use in Sales (Uniform Commercial Code) courses that was published in 2011.
Outside the firm, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, watching soccer and trying out new recipes on her husband.
