Cory W. Ray is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass, where he is a member of the firm's Healthcare Liability Team. His practice is focused primarily on the defense of residential care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and acute care hospitals.
Mr. Ray is a former Combat Medic with the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division. He received hands-on experience in treating wounded, ill, and injured casualties while deployed overseas. As a Sergeant, he was responsible for the health, welfare, and medical skills training of junior Soldiers. During his last duty assignment, Mr. Ray served as the Liaison Officer for his unit at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Mr. Ray is a proud graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctorate and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution. While in law school, Mr. Ray externed for the Los Angeles District Attorney in the Hard Core Gang Division. He is a proud alum of the University of California, Santa Barbara where he earned a BA in Political Science.
