Alina Sookasian is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass and a member of the Employment Law Team, where she dedicates her practice entirely to defending and counseling employers in various industries in all areas of employment litigation defense. Her proactive approach and intense personal investment in her clients' needs set her apart from others engaged in the same line of work.
Prior to joining Manning & Kass, Ms. Sookasian gained extensive litigation experience working at a prominent civil defense trial firm, representing corporate and individual clients in a wide array of civil law matters including catastrophic personal injury, general tort liability, wrongful death, and premises liability.
While attending law school, Ms. Sookasian competed as an advocate on the Byrne Trial Advocacy Team, a nationally ranked competitive mock trial team. She also successfully completed one year in the Hobbs District Attorney Clinic, where she received intensive advocacy training, and worked as a law clerk in the Victim Impact Unit of the Compton Branch District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Sookasian furthered her trial advocacy training when she was selected from a large group of competitive applicants throughout the Los Angeles area to serve as a Fellow in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) fellowship program. Ms. Sookasian is also a former graduate of the Jack Daniels ABOTA Trial School, a demanding program designed to enhance each participant’s trial skills and techniques.
