Aide Cristina Ontiveros is a senior counsel in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass, where she practices with the Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality Team. Ms. Ontiveros received her JD from UCLA School of Law in 1993. She received her BA with cum laude honors from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1990, where she majored in History and minored in Latin American Studies. Ms. Ontiveros is fluent in Spanish.
Ms. Ontiveros is a civil litigator and trial attorney. She has over 25 years of experience in civil litigation, specializing in the defense of general liability, premises liability, retailers, restaurants, hospitality, homeowners associations, employment/sexual harassment, motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, professional negligence, toxic torts and wills and trusts. She practices in both federal and state courts, and has defended cases successfully through trial and the appellate level.
Before joining Manning & Kass, Ms. Ontiveros was head of litigation and partner at Adams Stirling, PLC where she handled both plaintiff and defense of homeowner associations and common interest developments and provided general counsel services.
Ms. Ontiveros is a member of the California State Bar, Hispanic National Bar Association, Mexican American Bar Association, and Los Angeles County Bar Association.
