Robert B. Zelms Quoted in News Article on the Forced Closure of Arizona Gyms
Phoenix Managing Partner Robert B. Zelms was recently quoted by the Arizona Daily Star in an article titled “Arizona gyms forced closed by Ducey win hearing to challenge order” in which a judge has agreed to hear arguments by gyms that were affected by Gov. Ducey’s closure order. They are to remain closed for another two weeks even though their facilities meet the standards set forth by The Department of Health Services.
Mr. Zelms, who represents EoS Fitness, pointed out that that the closure of fitness centers coincided with Ducey’s decision that bars are not safe and told the Arizona Daily Star “only the state of Arizona…equates gyms to bars.” “My client has implemented the highest and most stringent safety protocols they can possibly have for any type of indoor large facility,” Zelms said.
